I love the look of the New canon G10. I might add it to my G collection. I have a G1, G2, G3 and a G5.

My G1, I converted to only shoot Infrared.(my first attempt and it kind of broke) my G2 I successfully converted to infrared, but I don't like how it doesn't automatically rotate the vertical photos, so I am going to convert my G5 to infrared. Between the G3 and G5, the G5 is a dog. it's very grainy in comparison. The G3 is so much better. for Infrared the grain won't matter much as I won't be using it in low light anyways. The G6 looked ugly and didn't add much, the G7 and G9 where OK, The image stabilized lens I like, but with my other cameras I didn't feel any need to buy it. the G10 looking good and the only thing i'm worried about is that it's 15megapixel. that's more then my 40D. and the sensor is what 1/4 the size. I'll see what DPreview.com has to say when they review it. for now it just physically looks fantastic. Great proportions and the grip looks good too. Only thing I don't like so far is the smaller battery and the SD card instead of the Compact flash, but I can live with that. I think the battery type is the same as my canon S50.
