Shih Tzu Puppy

We have a new baby in the house! We named her Roca. A two-month old female shih tzu pup.
My daughter Pristine was born a pet lover. Rabbits, birds, cats, fishes, even chicks. Name it, and sure we had it at one point. There was an instance all shops in front of our village were eaten by fire. When she saw it the next morning on our way to school, first thing that entered her mind was the pet shop. She knew fire occurred at midnight so there's no casualty. Animals inside cages couldn't save themselves from the fire. She was really sad. It made me think that maybe she's the only person who thought of the animals aside from the shop owner. I don't know where she got that attitude towards animals. Because I was certainly not a pet lover. I grew up in a house where we can't have pets. A three-storey house in a city with no backyard, thus no extra space for pets. I didn't like pets. I hated it that they make your house stinky. That I would have to spare time for them, bathing, feeding and such. Until Roca came... It was a gift to Pristine from my cousin and her boyfriend. They knew how she adores animals. When they brought it to our house days ago. My initial reaction was oh she's cute. Maybe she could get a place somewhere in the garage or balcony. Tell me how to resist this little darling. She won. She stays inside the house. Aside from that, I am the one that feeds, bathes her and all.
