Russia and Southern Georgia3

So one has to wonder if the recent conflict in Georgia is not the start of the cold war that supposed to happen more than 30 years ago? It seems like Russia isn’t willing to listen to the international community and the US and UN are just getting closer and closer to sending troops in. What happens then? To me that is incredibly scary. Another war is something this nation cannot handle - the people are stretched too thin now as is. I know that Russia knows this as well and choose this time to invade because of that. What will be the out cause of this? I don’t really know and nobody does, but I am scared and worried for the safety of the world.

Even with common perception that Russia is an evil side, which is probably true, Georgia launched the airstrike first. It just gives Russian troops a red carpet to get in. Unless we know nothing on the real course of events, that was indeed a stupid step, giving Russia all possible excuses. BTW, Georgian government is getting a significant financial aid from USA. Why did not they consult with their close allies, before opening military actions? Or, they did and got OK from USA?

I'd say the US aren't listening to Russia. Do you believe that if the US forces weren't spend to thin the then they would be able to take Russia on? Besides Russia responded to the Georgian attack on South Ossetia not invaded Georgia

Shaddy Donations for McCain 1
So it seems that two blue-collar office works at the Hess oil company donated a combine $57,000 to the McCain camp just a few days before he reversed his policy on off-shore drilling. How very coincidental that two people (that I doubt make more thank 120K between them) were able to drop a huge donation in McCain's camp right before he changes his position? Well it's good that just happens all the time. Or in other words that is total baloney and there is some fishy stuff going on here. I mean these people don't make enough to donate that kind of money so it has to be something to that ...

Slowing down to save the world 1
Slowing down as a way of life might just be the answer to saving people from themselves. I am a firm believer that we move too quickly, make decisions too quickly and fail because of it. Maybe if we had sometime to stop and think about all the actions we commit we would be better suited to accept the consequences. I was reading this blog about it and they had a great slowing down mug, which works perfectly. If we take the time to slow down and SIP our coffee instead of power it down we might be on the first step to a truth path of speed recovery, and that's the truth.
