If you’re like me you have granted more than a few applications access rights to your Twitter account and there are a few that you’d like to take those access rights back from. I hope the video below helps you out.

Hello, this is HowToPhil and today I’m going to show you how to revoke applications access rights from your twitter profile. If you’re like me you may have granted access to a several applications, but find that you’d rather that some of those applications no longer were able to post to or have access to your twitter account.

To begin the process you’ll have to be logged into twitter.com via the web interface using Firefox, Chrome, or any other modern web browser.

Once logged in you’ll want to click on the drop down menu in the upper right and then in that menu click on the “Settings” link. This will take you to the twitter settings page. Locate the Applications link on this page and click on it. You will then be taken to a page listing the applications with access to your twitter account. Simply click the “Revoke Access” button for the applications you’d like to remove. If you make a mistake simply click the same button again (It now says “Undo Revoke Access”) and access will be restored.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you and have a nice day.
