New Pirates not doing so well



The new "Pirates of the Caribbean" - "At World's End", the third part of the Walt Disney Co. franchise only got $112.5 million from Friday to Sunday, well below last summer's $135.6 million opening weekend for its predecessor, "Dead Man's Chest".

A man nailed down his hand to have some fun

Brittish citizen nailed his hand to a coffee table after watching a TV show.The idea to attach his limb to the furniture crossed 24-year old Jonathan Maybery's mind, when he was watching Jackass. Maybery told his friend about his idea, and the friend used a stapler to nail down Maybery's hand to a coffee table.As the victim states, he didn't feel pain and was enjoying his joke. The ambulance, who has arrived, could not detach the hand from the table, so they had to take Maybery to the hospital with the piece of furniture. It's funny how we end up saying that a movie who makes $112.5 million opening is not doing that well! That's all bad publicity crap if you ask me...

I'll take the 112.5 million.

I wonder how much the producers spent on making the movie, that's usually the issue -they want to get back what they have spent making the movie.
