Queretaro a “Top 10 Latin American Cities of the Future 2010-11″

Queretaro was a winner of the “Top 10 Latin American Cities of the Future 2010-11″ on the seventh place (7th), with Monterrey, Nuevo Leon on third (3rd), Guadalajara, Jalisco on sixth (6th) and Hermosillo, Sonora on ninth (9th).

Queretaro was also one of the winners on third place (3rd) in the category “Top 10 Large Cities with Economic Potential”

FDI Cities of the Future short lists are created by an independent collection of data by the FDI Intelligence division on 405 cities across North and South America. This information was set under six categories: Economic Potential, Human Resources, Cost Effectiveness, Quality of Life, Infrastructure and Business Friendliness. A seventh category was added to the scoring – FDI promotion strategy. In this category, 100 cities submitted details about their promotion strategy and this was judged and scored by FDI´s independent judging panel.
