Ok, yes, I started
over again. Feeling
pretty good.
I’m on day 3,
so I’ll skip
some of the normal
info. But, I tried
to figure out why I
failed the other
times. Here goes:
I tried working out
at night after the
kids went to bed.
Honestly, it sounded
like a great idea.
But, by the time
8:30 rolled around,
I was ready to go to
bed myself. So, it
was harder and
harder to keep up.
So, I had to adjust
my schedule.
I didn’t sleep
enough. I was trying
to get about 5-6
hours of sleep a
night. Honestly, I
was exhausted and
fatigued. So,
I’m going to
up the amount of
sleep I have

Ok, I’m
starting over again.
I went for about 2
weeks, then hurt my
wrist. It
wasn’t because
of P90X, it was
because of an old
injury. For some
reason, I can pop my
wrist out it’s
joints so that I
can’t even
turn a door know. I
think it was caused
by doing the chicken
wing stretch and I
pulled on my hand
instead of forearm
to stretch. Anyway,
I’m back.
I started back
again. I forgot how
hard the workouts
are. And, I know
tomorrow’s
plyometrics is going
to crush me.
Tonight’s
chest and back was
tough. I
couldn’t do
the same amount of
reps I did the

Week 2 is going
great. Have to admit
though, my body
feels fatigued.
I’m noticing
that more sleep
helps. Last week, I
averaged 5-6 hours
of sleep a night.
This week,
I’ve bumped it
up to 6-7 to see if
I have any better
results. I finally
started losing
weight a little
after I ate a little
more. Still
can’t get over
the hurdle of eating
so much. It’s
actually pretty hard
if I eat right.
Ab ripper x is still
crushing me. I can
feel my abs aching
on several occasions
and I just
can’t
continue. But, I
take a break then
move on.

Ok, this is the
toughest of all the
workouts. Just a
reminder,
plyometrics stands
for jump training.
So, in this workout,
you are doing
probably 100 or more
squats, 50+ jumps.
It’s a bear as
they say. I got
through the workout
barely. I did have
to stop a couple of
times and come back
even within the 30
second sets. I felt
like I was going to
upchuck maybe once.
But, this told me
that I was working
hard enough.
One thing I noticed
in particular was my
form. This time, I
could actually tell
that I was cheating
with my back. So, I
straightened my back
for the workout and
was able to drive

Today was a little
different. I felt
good, a little
tired, I guess a lot
of rest on the
weekend made me a
little slow. Today
was the first
workout where I
could compare
results. I
didn’t mention
this previously, but
with the non cardio
workouts like the
Shoulders and Back,
Shoulders and Arms,
and the Back and
Legs workouts, you
track the number of
repetitions you can
do. So, today my
goal was to do more
than I did last
week.
Results are in and I
did. For each
exercise, I was able
to do at least 1 to
2 more repetitions.
Doesn’t sound
like much but it was
an accomplishment.

Week 1 was tough.
Day 1, I knew the
rest of the week
would change my
body. In fact, this
entire workout would
change my body. I
already feel tight
in areas like my
chest and core. I
can’t say it
enough, that my core
feels different.
When working out, I
actually now feel
like I’m using
my muscles instead
of cheating with
other parts of my
body. Granted this
doesn’t mean
that I can finish
all of the workouts.
My abs are starting
to feel better.
Doing the P90X Ab
Ripper 3 times this
week has taken
it’s toll.
Granted, I
haven’t been
able to keep up with

Have to admit, I was
looking forward to
this day. I feel a
little weak overall.
It appears to be due
to the amount of
food I’m
eating. So,
I’m going to
start eating a
little bit more. My
body has completely
recovered from the
pain encountered
earlier in the week.
My triceps are
feeling better and
my legs feel good as
well.
The stretching this
evening felt good.
Already, I can tell
that I’m more
flexible than I have
been in many years.
It may even make me
feel a little more
relaxed at time. The
parts of my body
that were cracking
aren’t
cracking or making

Today has been an
odd day. Why? The
first 2 days of P90X
I was losing weight,
then I started
gaining weight. Why?
Well, I think I
figured it out. I
was taking a protein
shake and a creatine
shake at night.
After I did, I felt
pretty full, figured
it was all of the
liquid. I happened
to check the
creatine shakes
numbers. There it
was, 46 grams of
carbohydrates. So, I
nixed the shake this
evening. Can’t
wait to see what the
morning will bring.
Still hard to
maintain the number
of calories
especially with
meetings at
staggered times of
the day.
What I felt tonight
was a little
different though

Today was tough, now
that I think about
it, I guess all of
the days have been
tough. For some
reason though, I
felt more tired than
normal. I did get up
the courage to go in
and do the legs and
back routine, with
the Abripper X at
the end. It’s
a tough class, my
thighs felt like
they were burning
many times. I
actually enjoyed
doing the pull-ups
as a break to doing
the leg workout.
The leg workout is
pretty thorough. We
worked almost every
angle imaginable on
the legs. This is
completely different
from the normal
squat, extension,
leg curl routine
done in the gym.
Therefore, this
