I know i'm a bit late on this but I've just learned that there is going to be an Alien prequel. It's good news for alien fans everywhere because there was talk from 20th Century Fox of remaking the original film. Now we'll get a new alien movie and we can be content because they won't at least butcher the original. Tony and his brother Ridley Scott(the guy who created the original one) are delepoing it and it'll be directed by Carl Rinsch so there's hope for the new film.
The movie will be out in 2011, at the moment it's unclear when in 2011.
I'm really hoping that they don't scew up with this film because Alien is not the movie you want to ruin.
