never thought about shooting a video, especially on a DSLR. But suddenly one day I had this strange idea to make a zombie movie on a DSLR, don’t know how it came to me but I liked it, so I told the idea to my friend and he didn’t think long and told me -”what the hell, lets do this !”. So we wrote the script, chose the actors and went shooting. It took us 3 hours of shooting, 1500 photos, 6-7 hours of montage and the film was created. So behold ! Yesterday, i went out to shoot the first initial test rolls of b&w film for the winter landscape project. Technically it isn't quite winter yet in Britain, but nevertheless i decided to start on the project that will continue through until late February/early March 2010. The afternoon light was just about perfect by the time i'd arrived at my first location. It didn't last long though, barely thirty minutes, before the fragile warm sunlight slipped quickly away and the night came rushing in.
