Places to Find Free Website Templates Online
With so many of us changing blogging platforms, trying to see what is out there and what is going to work best for us, I thought I would reprint an article I had published on Dee's blog. I hope someone find's these useful. After this post this article is going in the vault.
First, here is a list of some of the other sites I have tried aside from Blogger and both versions of Word Press:
If you are still in need of a website, check out Wix for totally free flash websites and designs. They have made it a clean and simple process. Get your website up and running, for, you guessed it, FREE!
Weebly is another great website builder and host. They have a free option. As your business or website grows, so can their service, for under $50 a year you get more space and more storage. Weebly also has the option to let their designers create a custom website for you.
is also a host and blogging platform all in one. I have had a chance to play with this one (as well as Weebly) and even though both are great and have good customization, I like Webs much better. They have a control panel that is set up much similar to the control panels within hosting services such as GoDaddy and HostGator.
Here is why, even with a free account you are allowed 5 web store items. I plan on testing this site out more with my ebooks. Setting up the website was extremely easy. I did a test of Self Employed Writer. I have not done anything too fancy. Just set up the site. What I like is it gives me a lot of social networking and SEO features. Not to mention, its easy on my eyes. I think this is a great host and website and can see me placing one of my future sites here.
Last but not least, Yola. I have tried Yola and although it serves its purpose, there really is not much I can say about it that stands out. It was easy to build on, but it is pretty basic.

The idea is already there, inside your head. You have your website up and you know how you want it to look, the problem is where do you go for templates? Having a template designed just for you can be costly. Perhaps that is something you do not or just can not think about right now. No needs to worry, plenty of places offer free resources, no matter what sort of website you are trying to get set up.
