Tiffany & Co. said Wednesday that worldwide same-store sales for the holiday shopping season rose a better-than-expected 7 percent on strong growth in the United States and most international markets, prompting the high-end jewelry and watch retailer to raise its full-year earnings outlook.
Total net sales for the period from November 1 through December 31 rose 15 percent to $818.1 million!
In the United States, retail sales rose 12 percent to $432.4 million. Sales at U.S. stores open at least a year, an important metric known as same-store sales, rose 8 percent as sales grew 15 percent at the flagship New York store and 7 percent at branch stores.
I came across photos of this unusual rock formation. It's from of tubes(some are even six-sided) and it's really strange. This formation is located in Russia, on Kunashir island. Found here
I don't know about you but some of these photos make my head spin. I even had to make breaks because I felt sick by looking at them. Don't get me wrong the photos are nice and interesting it's just I can't help feeling dizzy. The author of the photos is Nick Heiwa.
overall growth of population wealth? how come. though, i as an economist - should tell - money value increases - bigger wages as a consequence, while prices stay the same.
