It's really difficult as an Orlando resident to be oblivious to the start of the NASCAR race season. After all, most people attending the races in Daytona Beach, Florida wind up in Orlando too! Orlando pretty much gets swamped with NASCAR fans leaving the races to visit Disney, Sea World or Universal Studios. So, now that NASCAR is embedded in my brain, I thought I would share some really cool social networks for NASCAR Fans. Sure, you may find groups in the larger social networks but now you can enjoy social networks created specifically for the NASCAR Fan. What all these social networks have in common is their dedication to provide you with access to a ton of NASCAR news,information, discounts and sometimes perks. I was so upset and livid yesterday about the news report of the two women who hosed down a small children. Yesterday, the mother of the 2 year old toddler turned herself in. She claims the child had a tendency to throw tantrums and usually she would put her child in time out or spray her in the face with water from a spray bottle to calm her down. Apparently, she had to improvise. No charges are pending! WTF! I'm sorry but I think what she did was unacceptable and she deserves to received the same treatment she dished out.. It seems to me she was having a tantrum herself. Wah, wah, wah,
I missed the broadcast about this story this morning because I had to take my children to school but I just got done reading the article on their website. What a very sad story. The host family claims the boy spent an hour and a half at the dinner table but I find that very hard to believe. The pictures are very disturbing to look at too! I'm just glad the boy's teacher made it a point to contact his family here in the United States. I don't think Jonathan McCullum would have survived there much longer. how can you watch nascar? I get sleepy just watching 5 minutes of it. People going around 1 lap 500 times isn't what I would call fun
