I was so upset and livid yesterday about the news report of the two women who hosed down a small children. Yesterday, the mother of the 2 year old toddler turned herself in. She claims the child had a tendency to throw tantrums and usually she would put her child in time out or spray her in the face with water from a spray bottle to calm her down. Apparently, she had to improvise. No charges are pending! WTF! I'm sorry but I think what she did was unacceptable and she deserves to received the same treatment she dished out.. It seems to me she was having a tantrum herself. Wah, wah, wah,

I missed the broadcast about this story this morning because I had to take my children to school but I just got done reading the article on their website. What a very sad story. The host family claims the boy spent an hour and a half at the dinner table but I find that very hard to believe. The pictures are very disturbing to look at too! I'm just glad the boy's teacher made it a point to contact his family here in the United States. I don't think Jonathan McCullum would have survived there much longer. Today's survey reminded me of one of the embarrassing moments in my life. I once bought a cheap pair of running shoes for work because money was tight and I needed them for work. I was in the middle of my shift one night and the sole of my sneaker came right off. There I was in the middle of an aisle wearing a sneaker with no bottom. It's really difficult as an Orlando resident to be oblivious to the start of the NASCAR race season. After all, most people attending the races in Daytona Beach, Florida wind up in Orlando too! My daughters got me hooked on this CW program. I didn't start watching the show until the fourth season but I rented the first 3 seasons on DVD, I still have to watch the first half of the fourth season. I'm dying to know whether or not Lucas marries Claire tonight!
