Jeff Jenkins has a green thumb when it comes to growing banks. With more than 17 years of financial experience, he is the new city president for Prosperity Bank. Jenkins, 40, is charged with expanding Prosperity’s presence in the Jacksonville area. A lone gunman is sought following the armed robbery of the Prosperity Bank branch here at 10:58 a.m. Wednesday. “We think he was acting alone, but we’re not certain,” said Yorktown Police Chief Paul Campos, noting that neither direction of travel nor mode of transportation was known.
