Apple shares have risen after the presentation of company’s new cell phone – iPhone. The portfolio of Apple grew up for 7,1 $ on Nasdaq, reaching 92,6 $. It is noticable that such growth was not influenced by the new product. The reason is that “iPhone” brand belongs to Cisco Systems of Linksys company, who has registered this name in 2000. The brand was registered only for Internet communcation devices. Apple has declared that its phones do not compete with Cisco. At the same time, other manufacturares shares became much cheaper, for example, Motorola shares went down by 1,8.
On April 26 21 years ago the worst nuclear power accident in history occured. The accident consisted of an explosion at the plant and subsequent radioctive contamination of the surrounding area. The power plant was located near Pripyat, Ukraine.It resulted in evacuation and resettlement of over 336 000 people. How many are still dying from radiation received back then is unknown. Here is a movie about the Chernobyl Disaster. I should warn you it's as depressive as impressive.
Neat idea, but the shadows of people are not from the garbage, nor do I believe they are photoshopped. Just some simple trickery of multiple light sources. If you look closely at the 1st image, you'll see the shadows of the garbage on the floor, right beneath the garbage. This shows your light source for the garbage, to be above and just to the camera's left.
I believe the shadows of the people are being projected from behind the screen. The shadows are so clean and detailed, The people would have to be very close to the screen. You can see this illustrated in the last image. The shadow of the table is very clean where it's close. As the table gets further from the screen, it doesn't take much to get distorted and fuzzy.
So you've got one light source lighting the garbage in front, and another creating sillhouettes from behind.
