In India, they burn Valentine's Day cards

Valentine's Day in India now has become a special date, in spite of complaints from some radical religious groups, which oppose it, as an affront to the Indian culture.

Couples who want to spend a romantic evening together risk having their date disturbed by religous radicals, who try to prevent men and women meeting in public.

Radicals encourage to burn Valentine's cards nd members have put up billboard advertisements asking young lovers not to hold hands.

Aluminum can tab products

This is not an ordinary bag - this is hand crocheted with over 1600 recycled aluminium pull-tabs. The best part is that each bag is individually handcrafted by one woman and each comes with a personal note from the artist who made it. Escama $160.00And this is A La Lata Chair - made from 1739 recycled aluminum can tabs! Looks really great. More via Inhabitat

Let's cook!

such an interesting photo set by Stratis&Beva - girls covered in flour, but they are not baking anything. looks interesting to me.In fact, Stratis&Beva are remarkable artists - photographs mainly in black and white, they divide women and men pictures. See for yourself @ Stratis&Beva.com

yeah, well, for religious people it may seem offensive, besides, don't forget that women have less rights in Eastern countries. and Valentine's Day makes them equal to men in a sense.

This world is full of crazy believes. I think all the governments in the world should have supper together and share there wines, and talk about how to solve all the problems, share money, and find ways to make this country a more green world. I dont want peace completely cause that is not possible, but i feel we all need to stop this crazy war (cough cough bush cough cough) and just relax and worry about other things such as destroying this world from polution and technology, rather then fighting against each other, and religion. Silly human beings, so smart yet so dumb!! *thats my rant for the day :)*
