Terragen is an extremely powerful piece of software, which can create stunning and almost photographic images of landscapes. It is in a constant state of development and is currently free for non-commercial use, which is nice. You are limited to images of 1,280 by 960 however.
The interface is relatively straightforward and within minutes it's possible to turn out an impressive landscape. Terrain can be created manually or from various types of digital mapping, notably that supplied care of NASA. Atmospheric conditions, cloud and water levels are all easily manipulated along with general camera preferences. Terragen exports your landscape as a Lightwave .lwo file so unless you use Lightwave you must translate your new world into a format that would be useable elsewhere.
Julian Beever is an English artist who is famous for his art on the pavements of England, France, Germany, USA, Australia and Belgium. Its peculiarity? Beever gives his drawings an anamorphosis view, his images are drawn in such a way which gives them three dimensionality when viewing from the correct angle. It's amazing !!! PowerClipping is embedding shapes or other objects, such as bitmaps, within other shapes or objects. Getting Started The first thing you'll want to do is open a new graphic in Corel DRAW.
