My 2nd Fondant

This cake is my second try at fondant. It was made for my god son's christening. He was named after the famous NBA star Carmelo Anthony, and so we do call him Melo.
I made this at the height of my busy Bazaar days. I started at eleven midnight, still lacking in fondant tools, with the help of a spoon in carving that name thank heavens, I was finished about five in the morning. For that, I wasn't able to go to church, to attend the baptismal ceremony. Plus, I was having pink eye. And I didn't like the idea of wearing sunglasses in the middle of a religious ceremony. My sister brought it to the reception, so effort wasn't wasted after all.
