From now on we’ll try to bring more life to the blog. There will be more frequent but shorter posts, generally related to some geographic location. But sure, some longer and deeper writings will be posted occasionally as well.

Monterrey is a pretty big city and it’s quite modern as well. As we approached its southern edge the sight of the mighty cordilleras was getting closer and scarier. Even though the scenery was beautiful, we are not really fond of climbing hills. On the second picture you can see the crown of the mountain line, and in the foreground, a Soriana. Soriana id probably the biggest hypermarket-chain in Mexico, you can buy almost anything in them, but they are not present in smaller cities. Anyways, it’s not the hyper we want to show you, it’s some graffiti near its parking space. We’ve seen a good number of graffiti during our walk. We saw the best ones (and by far) in Spain. Maybe it’s a “Latin thing” but here in Mexico we’ve been able to enjoy some spectacular wall-paintings again. I think many of you will recognize these faces.
