Here's a picture of my daughter and I, we were all smiles because I was trying to teach her play a particular the blending game in her leapster but she was trying to hide it from me. When I started leaving her alone and going back to my reading, she started telling me she wanted to read the "doggy doggy" or the "Fun Facts About Pet". I'm happy that she likes listening to reading, too bad the volume of Nookie isn't loud enough, when at home we connect it to our
home theater system 5.1 for a better sound quality especially when she's playing "Kids Learn's Learn to Blend, Make Words and Try Reading".
This summer break, we're doing sort of a basic homeschooling. She mastered all her uppercase letters, reciting her numbers from 1-20, some shapes. We're now working on her lowercase letters, she only knows a-e and reading numbers 11-20, she knows 1-10.
Do you have any recommendation fun pre-school learning activities? What are the things that make you busy this summer break? Krystyn at Really, Are You Serious?
