The newest addition to the Miele family of fine appliances is the Miele S2 canister vacuum cleaner. The Miele S2 is a high quality entry level vacuum at an affordable price.

The Miele S2 is tough! Test after test after test is performed to ensure the consumer a machine that will last for years to come! The cordwinder is pulled out and retacted 20000 times, the vacuum is dragged over thresholds to make sure the wheels won't fall off, the machine is hung from it's hose! Along with other tests, Miele's standard is to make a product that lasts a minimum of 20 years.
Attention to detail separates the good from the bad, the great from the ordinary and Miele understands that! Each vacuum is made to stand alone, have it's own special look. Dynamic lines and bold styling gives each Miele customer something to be proud.
The Miele S2 will come in 3 different models in the USA. Two models the S2180 Titan in Red and the S2120 Delphi in white will come with the SEB 217-3 electric powerbrush and electric hose for customers who have wall to wall or deeper rugs and bare floors. The third model, the S2120 Olympus will come with a FaberteQ rug and floor tool for the customer with all bare floors and low area rugs.
The Miele S2180 Titan and the S2120 Delphi will have quick disconnect electric telescopic wands. The wands will quick disconnect (cord integrated) at both the hose handle end and the powerbrush end. The wands will be made of a durable stainless-steel and the telescopic action will accommodate both short and tall users.
The Olympus comes with a special rug and floor tool, the FiberteQ. The FibertQ is made of a special glass fiber reinforced polymer base helping it glide and move with ease. Carpet to floor transition is also made to be fast and easy.
The S2 has the new Hyclean self sealing vacuum bags. Open the lid to the canister and the bag is already sealed. The S2 also fits the extra large "GN" bag, a 6 quart bag that is 9 layers and reinforced.
Except for the color ,the Miele Titan and the Miele Delphi are the same machines. The difference is the S2180 Titan in red comes with a parquet floor brush and Active Hepa Filter and the S2180 in white does not. All S2 models not packed with the Active Hepa Filter will be fitted with the Super Clean Air Filter. As an option the super air clean filter can be replaced with the Active Hepa Filter for allergies or the Active Air Clean Filter for Odors such as dog,etc.
Your vacuum tools are always close with the Miele S2.Just attach the VarioClip to store tools at the hose handle,hose base or separately, its your choice.
To much suction or to little is never a problem. Self explanatory symbols and a rotary selector help the customer choose the correct settings.
In reviewing the new Miele S2 we find an entry level hygienic product that more than exceeds our list of requirements. We welcome Miele"s new addition to it's family, the Miele S2.
