Michael Rensing Joins Portsmouth – FM 2011
I have been only given a small budget after the transfer window, but free transfer was still available. I only realised Michael Rensing was a free transfer in my game when his agent came knocking on the door to find out whether I am interested for a goalkeeper.

Who on earth will refuse a goalkeeper like him for nPower Championship league?
The downsides to Michael Rensing in technical skills are his aerial ability, command of area and communication. I would prefer these attributes to be at least 15 for a good goalkeeper.
Also, his determination is pretty miserly for a goalkeeper. Even my existing keeper, Jamie Ashdown, has 15 for determination. You do not want to concede a goal and you goalkeeper to be demoralised, only to concede more goals because he does not have the resolution to overturn a game.
Still, Michael Rensing is top notch for any nPower Championship side as his physical attributes, reflexes and one on ones are quality. He does make it to the Premier League standard, and I will do everything in my power to keep him even though Portsmouth is cash-strapped in my game.
I was so surprised that he would agree to join Portsmouth at a very low rate of £8,000 per week. That’s about the maximum wages that my board would allow.
Another free transfer which I made is Kevin Bobson, who will rotate with my other wingers.

I am lacking of central midfielders and will be moving into central midfield if Kevin Bobson could adapt well on the left wing.
I hired Kevin Bobson for his speed and to bring the ball forward. His stamina and composure are found wanting, but I think he will still make it through for nPower Championship league.
I have other updates about my team found in my video, but I will make a more detailed update once I play enough games.

Just upgraded my headset and some changes to this blog
I want to hear some feedback over the audio quality of the videos, as well as this blog’s website improvements.
For video, I bought a new headset, Razer Banshee Starcraft, to get rid of the buzzing sound found in my previous videos and I hope your feedback will let me see if I am on the right track.
Also, for this blog, I used some third-party services to ramp up the speed, so if you experience any bad connections or whatsoever, I will appreciate it if you will put it on the comments below so that I can tweak it accordingly. Many thanks!
