Actress Meredith Baxter Says She’s a Lesbian – Source ABC News

Meredith Baxter came out of the closet recently. She says that she has only known for the last 7 years that she was a lesbian. What a shocker!

She was in the 80’s sitcom Family Ties which I watched every week as a teenager. I never thought anything “gay” related about her except that I figured she might take it hard if she ever found out that her child was gay and that she probably would’ve been too judgmental.

Apparently not.

Well now that she is out of the closet she will most likely start getting more roles and not just on the scorned lady channels. Let’s hope she gets another sitcom soon so we can see her again because I do kinda miss her on TV and now that she’s a sista I miss her even more.

That is a surprise. (Who knows what we'll discover online at 3 in the morning. LOL ) I used to watch the show, "Family" (different from "Family Ties". "Family" (with Mathew Brodderick's real-life father as her father) was on - I think - in the late 70's. (I do kind of wonder, though, how on Earth she didn't know until so recently???) :)

Another example of a woman turning gay out of convenience. She's been married 3 times, hyphenated her name, then un-hyphenated it, has 5 kids and now she realized she's gay. In my opinion, if you are gay you are gay - you can't turn it on and off like a switch. Otherwise you're no better than Anne Heche or Lindsey Lohan

Interesting Day
Well today was certainly interesting. At around 1pm today Chip calls to get my help with the computer at his job. He was having the infamous “blue screen of death” a lot. I’m good with tech support in person but not so much over the phone especially when the person I’m talking to isn’t giving me all the details. So I got ready and rode my bike there. Feeding the Homeless
Last night we went to a fat factory (that’s what I call buffets lol) called China Town Buffet and as we were driving in to the parking lot we saw this homeless guy with a crutch sitting on one of those little islands that’s all grass with a curb. It was actually on the part of the gas stations property of the parking lot. Chip and I are both on the same wave length, we are both always thinking the same thing for some reason. Yard Sweepers
I have this lawn sweeper that is very similar to the one in the image above made by the Parker lawn sweeper company but it’s called the Parkerette.
