The Yellow Bird Project

I believe we all agree that fashion is as fascinating and fun as music is. But you know what is even greater? When both fashion and music collaborate for philanthropy, to serve a higher purpose! That's exactly what is going on at the Yellow Bird Project a Montreal-based non-profit initiative brought to us by Casey Cohen and Matthew Stotland. Yellow Bird Project collaborates with several musicians on creating a design that they print and sell through their website and give all the profit to the charity that each artist chooses! The concept is simple and effective; the musicians get some good publicity, the charities get some founding, and you get to wear a quite original, unique t-shirt and become a "good Samaritan"! The way I see it is a win-win situation. So, the latest news from YBP is the collaboration with online CD retailer Insound in order to bring you a special CD promotion: with the purchase 3 or more YBP t-shirts, including a Clap Your Hands Say Yeah tee, you will also receive a FREE hard copy of their new album, ‘Some Loud Thunder’. The profits from the sale will benefit Art For Change an organization that "encourages the advancement of progressive social change by using art as a catalyst for disseminating information to people". Are you still here???

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah $25.00

How 2 T-shirts

I totally love the idea of these shirts! The concept is to just give instructions on how to do several things, such as to cure a hangover or defy gravity. Some of these shirts are not only hilarious but pretty original artistically. You'll find the actual instructions printed on the inside of the shirt.Via my t-shirt blog.

I found this new t-shirt at SplitReason.com and I have to say I think it's fantastic! Nicely drawn design with a witty and smart twist! All gamers admit that Wii can get really nasty and this design is the proof! Whahaha! *Links in this post are affiliate

Pricy? That's nothing compare to the one I found today and I'm going to post in a while! Everyday I find around the Internet tons of t-shirts from "underground" and "independent" brands that promote "street fashion"! I'm not saying that they are not nice and good t-shirts but to pay $100 for a t-shirt is not "street wear" any more....
