Healthcare: The New Retirement Fund For Congress.

We are about to have healthcare reform in this country. It has been a long and hard battle but at long last it has been won. I would like to thank all 9,000 lobbyists that worked so hard to educate our congress on the healthcare needs of the American People.I imagine that the healthcare industry must have really strained their budgets paying for all those lobbyists and their expenses. Fortunately its all tax deductible, after all they only did it for the good of all Americans.Well the truth is that healthcare reform is not about health, nor about caring, nor about reform. Tiger Woods – The God

By Pancho_Villa  in  Politics & Social Issues

It’s amazing how we have nothing else to focus on except who Tiger Woods is sleeping with besides his wife. According to the news media most of the population would rather read about Tiger’s sexual escapades than about children with nothing to eat. Millions are losing their homes and we devote endless airtime and newspaper articles to Tiger’s social life. Even the economy has to take a back seat to Tiger’s sexual appetite. I know some people that are truly upset that Tiger may have been unfaithful. One young lady I know is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. She feels that   read more

H1N1 Man Made Disaster

Lewis Farrakhan is one of the great leaders of the Nation of Islam. He is most recognized in the ghettos of the larger cities in the United States of America. This past week Mr. Farrakhan addressed a large gathering celebrating The Day of Atonement. During this speech he made certain comments that have outraged many across our nation.Be that as it may, for the first time I am in agreement with Mr. Farrakhan. I have never before agreed with him, so this is a first for me. I am sure that as this story develops many of my fellow citizens will also agree with him.During his speech, Mr. Farrakhan   read more

What Free Lunch?

By Pancho_Villa  in  Politics & Social Issues

When I was just a young child, (the apple of my parents eyes), very few average persons had medical insurance. We were a part of the lucky few. My father purchased medical insurance that paid eighty per cent of the doctor and hospital bill for things like, appendicitis, major accidents that required hospitalization and various and sundry other medical procedures. It did not pay for routine Doctor’s visits.Somewhere along the way various insurance companies begin offering catastrophic medical coverage. They also begin offering coverage against cancer and other costly medical conditions. Then   read more

Lessons Not Learned

By Pancho_Villa  in  Politics & Social Issues

The Obama administration has proven to everyone’s satisfaction what Pancho Villa predicted several months ago. On November 10, 2008 Pancho Villa wrote an essay on the lessons we should have learned from our own history. The essay titled “History Lesson 101/ Economics 101” can be found here http://hubpages.com/ hub/historylesson . Without creating something of value any economic stimulus advanced by the administration will surely fail every time. There is a good reason for this.   read more

A Rose By Any Name Is Still A Rose Or Do You Want Fries With That?

By Pancho_Villa  in  Politics & Social Issues

Today for lunch I had what's called a "wrap". Yesterday I had a burrito and the day before that I had a taco.To my surprise a wrap, a burrito and a taco are all three the same. They contain the same ingredients, a flour tortilla filled with meat or vegetables of your choice rolled into a cylindrical shape, they taste the same, are prepared the same, packaged the same and cost about the same. One may contain a secrete ingredient (ketchup), or one may be super sized but they are all the same and taste the same. As some would say "If it quacks like a duck, walks like a duck and looks like a   read more

How To Break Laws Without Trying

By Pancho_Villa  in  Politics & Social Issues

We are a nation of laws, yes we are. We have laws to cover just about any situation that may occur. Take for instance the exposing of the ACORN employees counseling the undercover reporters on how to cheat the IRS and how to import children for prostitution, well; it now appears that the two reporters have broken the law. Maryland has a law that makes it illegal to record an event unless both parties are aware the event is being recorded. Under that law ACORN is now suing the reporters for five million dollars. This particular law makes a lot of sense to me. Just stop and   read more
