LocalCooling is a unique and new project. This small piece of software is a more advanced energy management interface for your lovely PC which will allow everyone who uses it to save energy.
LocalCooling is created right for us, ladies and gentlemen, lazy and absent-minded, who forget to (or choose not to) turn our computers off when we leave our office or home. It is estimated that 15 computers cause the same amount of CO2 emissions as one car over a given time frame. Scientists have discovered that 30 billion kilowatt hours (kWh) were wasted each year, are saved now using LocalCooling.
