Santa's "Ho Ho Ho" is offensive to women

A shop is Australia has fired 70-year-old John Oakes their Santa Claus for saying "ho ho ho" The reason for firing him was that women might be offended by "ho" which is American slang for whore.

Instead he was supposed to say "Ha Ha Ha"

I cannot even begin to understand how on earth did they turn Santa's "ho ho ho" into an offense?

A quick question - does the "ho ho ho" offend any of you? I think PC has gone way too far with this one

Lindsay Ann Hawker (22) from Brandon had been teaching English in Japan for the past five months.
