A 16 year-old boy was sent to Siberia for reeducation. He and his guardian will spend 9 moths in a small village Sidelnikovo.
There is no internet, television or telephone there, the only way to get to the village is by car or on foot. The boy has to walk 2.5 kilometers or about 1.5 miles to school. This doesn't sound too bad but in winter it gets cold there about -40 Fahrenheit. He also must rely on himself for everything like chopping the firewood and getting water from the well.
The officials hope once he returns to Germany, he will be able to start a new life. At school, at home he behaved very aggressively. He attacked some kids, teachers and even his own mother. The of such reeducation in Russia is three times cheaper than in Germany. Presently the guardian and the bot receive 150 Euros a day, that's about $100.
