David Hasselhoff starring in the musical..in a dress

David Hasselhoff has signed up to star in hit musical "The Producers". The musical began prewiev performance at the Paris casino hotel in Las Vegas hotel on 31 January, and its official opening is February, 9.

The 54 year old actor will dom a dress as the flamboyant gay director Roger DeBris in the show, which is based on Mel Brook's film..

Brooks said: "He is perfect for Roger DeBris because he has the best legs in Hollywood."

"I am honoured to be a part of anything Mel Brooks is involved with", Hasselhoff stated. "He has always been my favourite man of comedy."
