A quarry worker in Seoul was found dead. Police found a melted cell phone battery in his shirt pocket. They believe that the battery explosion was the cause of death. The Doctors said that the man hard a burn on his left chest side and his ribs and spine were broken. The explosion must have damaged the heart and lung.

Personally i don't think that a battery explosion could have been so powerful to kill a human and break his ribs and spine, even if it had exploded next to a man chest. Maybe the battery burned him and he tripped and fell a long way. That would explain the broken bones.
