Plane Crash in Thailand



A plane with tourists crashed yesterday at the Phuket International Airport in Thailand.

The death toll reached 88 Monday as diplomats and investigators converged on the scene of the crash.

The Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont said "At this time, the death toll is at 88, and salvaging of the plane is still going on and we expect that this will finish today. Now, the deputy director of the Airports of Thailand and the Minister of Transport are trying to find more dead bodies that may still be within the plane's debris."

According to the U.S Embassy spokesman 4 Americans were killed in the crash.

Bush and Roh Discuss the Korea War

President Bush told South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun In a rare public exchange that a formal end to the Korean war will begin when North Korea halts its secretive nuclear weapons program.
