Police in Turkey have defused a potantially lethal bomb hidden under a bus in central Ankara. According to Kemal Onal, the capital's governor a large amount of explosives were found in the bus with a fake plate number which was parked in a garage. All residents very evacuated before the bomb experts began their work. Onal said: "The meticulous work of the police averted a possible catastrophe I do not even want to think about what would have happened if the attack had succeeded." Al Jazeera

All these places will be able to see the complete eclipse from start to finish. Europeans will miss out on the entire show, as the Moon will be below the horizon during their mid and late morning hours.
