THURSDAY THOUGHT: THOUGHTS ABOUT SEX

 in  Kids & Family    Share

Is there anything anyone could have told you that would have made your first sexual experience better? Do you think you would be better off if you had waited longer to have sex? If you had started earlier? Was sex what you imagined it to be?I need your lips to be sealed in this (wink! wink!) Actually, this topic is rather common in the universities and I have gone through with ituhm, maybe half a dozen times in my life BUT I have not answered such a fashion. For everyone to see, hehe. But then, it may probably be not new to you anyways. So here goes:Is there anything anyone could have told   read more

TOO MUCH BODY HAIR

 in  Health & Medicine    Share

Naturally, men have more Androgenic Hair or in common term body hair than women. This is because of the male hormone androgen that is higher in male than female. At the age of puberty these androgenic hair starts to show themselves on to adulthood.Acceptance of the visibility of these hairs differs in every culture, but lately, more and more people recognizes the need to get rid of them, especially women, with differing reasons. May it be for the simple reason of being perceived to have smooth flawless skin, or for a more conclusive reason of swimmers to reduce friction, body builders to highlight   read more

WEIRD PETS

 in  Kids & Family    Share

There really are animal lovers to the point of having them as pets, no matter how weird others believe it to be. I remember a BF taking care of Iguana at home. Gladly, he disposed of it before I decided to agree to be his girl then. I just cannot imagine going near it. And some have poisonous snakes even. A total wacko at that just as what I have once seen in National Geo channel where he got bitten by it and miraculously survived. Weird as it may seem to see home with a tarantula in an aquarium, a tiger in a cage, worms, cockroaches…we just can’t blame their owners of loving them. After   read more

ANYONE KNOWS "SUNGKA"?

 in  Kids & Family    Share

I cannot remember if I have posted about the summer Sports Fest we had in our church organization for the singles which we call Kadiwa. In this sports fest we did not play the ordinarily played games in every sports fest like the volleyball, basketball and all other ball games as was usual; instead we played famous Filipino Games. The reason why we named the affair Palarong Pinoy.I mentioned this with the thought of this game "Sungka" (pronounced as SOONG-kah) which was one of those games among others. In preparation for that affair, I actually borrowed from the sister to my grandpop her own   read more

PACQUIAO FRUSTRATINGLY BORED

 in  Life & Lifestyle    Share

The most awaited fight finally came yesterdayand "The Best Boxer At All Times" (from Aron Burr himself) Manny Pacquiao obviously got bored. If you are amongst the millions to have seen the fight either beside the ring or in the comfort of your home, you will agree with me that Pacman truly looked frustrated because Clottey will not engage. He hid behind his defense of closed arms in his face all through out the game. Paquiao even risked standing before him a couple of times and get upper cuts just so his contender will give the audience something worth watching.Clottey looks to have the strength   read more

GETTING SO HOTTT

 in  Relationships    Share

Almost fever high temperature…I’m burning hot! Imagine a sizzling hot thirty six degrees inside the homes of Filipino’s and probably higher outside. It’s not even beach-friendly with that. And what is the instant solution to ease off the heat? Run for cover in an air conditioned room, or turn on to high your electric fans, a dip in the pool (covered, definitely!) and partaking of ice cold beverages. At this time of the year, summer, it is but natural to increase energy consumption here in the tropics, as it is during winter in other places. The use of heaters and air conditioning is the primary   read more

COST CUT AT HOME

 in  Kids & Family    Share

I was looking at our latest electricity bill and cannot help but shake my head with resignation. It is after all the time of the year when we have the highest consumption. It is summer time here in our side of the globe and definitely be using more of the air conditioning unit and electric fans. At times, we even use both together.Gladly, I came across this http://www.microsoft -hohm.com site. They have splendid advices on Energy saving that can very well help consumers in minimizing home energy use.More often than not, people are not noticing or probably not aware of the wattage of the home   read more

SAVE ENERGY

 in  Life & Lifestyle    Share

Life is not getting any easier to live by these days. Not only were there financial constraints, but also of the comfort inside and outside our homes. It’s either it is too hot or too cold. And it is because of the severe climate change the world over is experiencing due to the global warming. A natural reaction of Mother Nature to the destruction it is experiencing since the world was created. The pollution coming from man made creations brought about the "sickness" and the continuous use of them speeds up the "death" of the earth. Now man can do nothing about it. We are suffering along with   read more
