I've read the entire series and found the books to be anticlimactic and the Bella/Edward romance to be, at times, completely illogical. But I felt the movie brought the characters to life in a way the book didn't. I loved that Catherine Hardwicke and Kristen Stewart emphasized what I find most interesting about Bella -- that she is an outsider by choice. The last two Harry Potter films were rated PG-13, which makes sense because the books got darker as Harry and friends got older. In a move that has shocked some fans, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince has been given a PG-Rating, for ‘For scary images, some violence, language and mild sensuality’.
