It’s been pretty quiet on this blog lately. It probably has something to do with the fact that I’m so busy! One thing I have been wanting to do is to get started on Hubpages. I have an account and I also have a number of Squidoo friends there (no doubt all wondering when I’m going to publish a hub!)I have two squidoo lenses in WIP at the moment and was thinking of publishing them on Hubpages but one thing has stopped me.The ideas (or subjects) are unique (well, not completely new but I don’t have any other lenses on these subjects..) so I’m thinking that it would be better to post them on Squidoo rather than hubpages.I would be interested to know how other lensmasters are using hubpages,   read more

Yep, this is my new Angel lens as I’ve recently received my SquidAngel wings! Remember when I suggested using a file expander to collect information like magazine articles on your lens' topics?I'm just wondering how many of you are doing this or is it still me? ;)You'd be surprised at just how extensive your research on a subject can be. E.g. there are so many different ways that you can cope with Depression and not all of them are 'of this world'. Keep an eye out on this particular lens (it's due for an update) and you'll see exactly what I mean.I buy magazines regularly (about once a week) and I usually buy the exact same ones every time. With regards to my stat counters, I’ve removed Statcounter and have set GoStats to invisible and have reactivated my account on GetClicky (as per the suggestion of  Fluff )Updates to my lenses are coming along nicely. I’ve finished all the lenses that hadn’t been updated since July (7) and am now working on all the lenses that haven’t been updated sinch August (8).It seems to work well for me, however, it does mean any tweaks (little changes like taking the feedcat code out) I make on some of the lenses that have not had a decent update can get missed (sets the edit date to   read more
