Punk legend Iggy Pop has been honored with a lifetime achievement gong at the Vodafone Live Music Awards.

"I want to thank the fans that put me up on the stage for so long." He said

Known as the grandfather of punk, Pop follows in the footsteps of The Who - who won the special title last year.
