A toddler stucks a toilet seat on his head

British firefighters haid to rescue a boy after he got a toilet seat stuck on his head.

The kid, 2 years old, and his mother walked into a fire station in Essex, and the boy put his head through a small trainer seat for the toilet and could not remove it.

In the end, the firefighters put some dish washing liquid on the his head and it slid off.

The boy had been "very brave" and "toddled away as happy as can be" after his ordeal ended.

Shakira takes time off to study

For the past month, Shakira has been taking a class at the University of California, Los Angeles, called "Introduction to Western Civilization: Ancient Civilizations from Prehistory to Circa A.D. 843." Shakira's manager Fifi Kurzman said "She went when she finished her tour, for the summer." She decided to take some time off to focus on social causes.Her classes began Aug. 6 and ended Thursday, though according to Robert Cleve(course lecturer) Shakira didn't attended the last few classes.She told me she was visiting from Colombia and that she was just doing this for her own enlightenment

Disaster in Vietnam

At least 60 people have been killed and 100 are missing after a bridge collapsed while it was under construction in southern Vietnam. The disaster happened after scaffolding on some parts of the bridge, came apart early on Wednesday. About 250 engineers and workers were on site at the time. "They are still pulling out bodies from the rubble, I could hear the screams," a worker told Reuters news agency. The deputy head of the Can Tho police, Le Viet Hung , said rescue teams were digging through the rubble in search of survivors. "It was total chaos. It sounded like a huge explosion.
