Almost two months I’ve been running PPC Marketing using Adwords, I’m quite satisfied with the result wherein I generated 105.53% ROI during 45 days. Although such was the case, I do straight away researching and implementing any optimization tips that I found, including Landing Page optimization.
Today I check my landing page to ensure that there’re no any problems. When I check it, the worst occurrence just happened with my landing page, my landing page has no call to action button. How stupid I am! I just spent my money for nothing.
Without any delay, immediately I try to fix it. And the problem is on a file that lades “call to action button”, I didn’t complete uploading it when I update that file. I just think I have done and everything is ok. I think my landing page is going well although I didn’t check it again. But I’m wrong.
Based on this incident, how very importance to check and re-check your landing page, to ensure everything is going well, such as loading time, capability with any browsers, and the call to action button.
What if that problem was your landing page links didn’t work properly? You’ve just threw potentially millions of dollars away for rushing the launch of a campaign. It’s happened to me which is the reason I will create this checklist for you to go through after each campaign is ready to go.
That’s taken quote from Richard Bonner (aka. Richardbonner.net), he just posted “Pre Campaign Launch Checklist” article. Thanks Richard for the nice article! I’ll try always to check and re-check my landing page and other aspects before I turn a campaign on.
