These are some of the free tools you might find useful: Google Adwords: Keyword Tool - this is what some, if not most, bloggers use to determine the right keywords to use for their articles. Google Trends - to find out the trending topics in Google. You can use this the same way as you use other sites' trending topics as stated in this post. Google Webmaster Tool - helps in finding any problems your site might have or which pages are indexed in Google. Picasa - image hosting. You have an option to download and install their software or upload it from the web version. Blogger - blog platform/hosting site. (This site, along with 6 other blogs, are hosted in Blogger).

Tag Clouds
Most bloggers write something about current events. Why not? Especially if it's a global concern, it will definitely be a hit. But is it enough to just write anything down?
