Tonight the Senate rolled out the new version of the state's internet tax bill, and the paragraph mentioning "affiliates" and the other language were removed. The bill was changed by the democrats to simply attempt to collect the taxes due to Colorado directly from the Colorado consumers themselves. The bills which were passed by the Colorado Senate Finance Committee last week will be heard in the Senate tomorrow. The bill, along with the other 11 bills the press is calling the "dirty dozen" tax bills, will be considered by the Senate on Monday, February 8th.
