Foxconn will produce 20 million iPad 2 by the end of the year

DigiTimes reports the news that Foxconn has set the production to achieve 20 million iPad 2 in the quarter with a significant increase over the previous quarter and compared to initial estimates

For this quarter, Foxconn has included the production of 20 million units with a increase of 60% compared to initial estimates. Two months ago Apple estimated to ship 12-14 million of devices for the current quarter. The increase up to 20 million represents a significant leap forward for the Cupertino company which is increasingly leading tablet.
Apple last month announced it had sold 9.25 million iPad in the second quarter of the year while respecting all the market forecasts.
