Football Manager 2012 Release Date And Official Video Tactics Tutorial

One year has quickly gone by, and we are now due for Football Manager 2012! It will be released on the 21st of October 2011.

Sports Interactive will probably release 2 versions of demo again, and I will be downloading the strawberry version to try out once again (if you guys do not know, strawberry version means it has more features than the vanilla counterpart). It should be fun because there are so many new features to explore around once again.

On top of that, I should be playing Portsmouth again. I really did not complete much with my previous game, and I thought using Portsmouth should rectify that.

Sports Interactive has revamped their tactics system for FM 2012 where we can preset tactical systems for your team. Up to 3 custom settings, I think it gives great flexibility and realism in plotting your strategies.

Miles Jacobson mentioned that you can create a custom away and home strategy, but I prefer my strategy to be attacking and defensive instead. Does not make sense to me if I am adjusting my tactics according to the locations where the match is being played.

Honestly, this tactics revamp gives greater depth for the game, but it certainly makes the game so much more complicated. Newer people who have not been playing Football Manager should have some difficulty playing this newly revamped tactics creator.
