Anyway today is Christmas Eve in my country, so I guess the thumbnail on the left is just to celebrate the season.

I was wondering if my presentation on my FM 2011 games were a little bit cheesy and hence I decided to use this match as a gauge to see if my change of presentation will suit your viewing pleasure. So instead of the usual hiding from you about the scoreline, instead I revealed it and commentate as how a newscaster would.

Turns out that not many of you really like the presentation, and I guess I will revert back to my original style.

FM 2011 Reading v Portsmouth nPower Championship Game 10

Reading played the 4-2-3-1 formation and I am beginning to wonder why are there so many teams in the nPower Championship league who likes to play this formation in FM 2011? is it really true in real life?

4-2-3-1 Formation

Portsmouth was doing well, especially John Utaka as I saw him trying very hard to secure goals. Eventually John Utaka scored a superb solo effort, beating the defense and he scored in close range.

Later on John Utaka had lots of opportunities but he just did not have the finishing to secure the game for a win for Portsmouth. That really shows how important the composure attribute is in FM 2011, because John Utaka lacked composure.

In the second half, Dave Nugent ran into the box from the left wing and set up Ryan William where the latter slotted the ball into the back of the net. It was a good performance and coolly placed shot.

Matt Ritchie scored a great goal from a tight angle to secure the game. It was a nail in the coffin and Portsmouth secured 3 points in the nPower Championship league.
