We were playing at home ground for Portsmouth and Norwich was using a rather unique formation against us.

4-1-2-1 Formation

Norwich is too heavy on the middle of the pitch, which will allow my wingers to exploit since we have lots of space on the sides. I love to play against this formation against any team!

Gavin McCann earned himself a red card when he tried to tackle my player from the back. It was an early bath and right now Portsmouth ought to seize the opportunity to secure a good win against our opponents.

Chinedu Vine scored from a total fluke when his cross unexpectedly became a goal from the left wing! It was totally unintentional and it was a really great goal!

Afterwards Chinedu Vine successfully a great cross to Liam Lawrence, where the latter scored from close range. It was an outstanding performance for the youngster for this match!

After the half time break, Ibrahima Sonko scored with a header from a great corner kick from Liam Lawrence. Ibrahima Sonko is really great at headers and I am looking into the reason of his secret into headers in the FM 2011 game.

Ryan Williams added the last icing on the cake when he poached the ball into the back of the net when the ball was left unattended by Norwich‘s defense. Portsmouth‘s youngsters are making a great impact in the game and I am well pleased with their performances.

I must admit that we were helped by an early red card. Notice the amount of yellow cards Portsmouth accumulated just in this match! I hope it will not become a liability in future.
