FM 2011 Portsmouth v Millwall nPower Championship Game 8
Just a heads up on the broken down hard disk which I was talking about in the video – I finally retrieved the data and it cost me about 450 bucks! Ouch!
This match against Millwall is a must win because we are playing on our home ground, and they do not seem to be a very strong team at the moment. I thought of going all out since we are at home, but I was aware that my back four is currently weak since my captain Aaron Mokoena is currently sidelined for injury.
I had to put Sam Magri into the defense, and he was the one that conceded a goal by a bad tackle in the previous game. I hope he will not continue his poor form into this match since we really needed a win.
Millwall helped us by playing a defensive 4-1-4-1 formation and I was happy since Sam Magri has another companion to tackle the lone striker.

Portsmouth dominated the game over Millwall in possession and for team talks I expected a win. However we could not create any clear cut chances, and it took Michael Brown‘s screamer from range to put us in front for the first half.
Somehow there are no other highlights in the second half and the replay went straight to the 90th minute. I guess beyond the screamer there aren’t any more interesting highlights, but seriously Sports Interactive should do something about the replays for it to be more enjoyable.
