Eurovision 2011: Blue Appearance With Paul O’Grady

0 Spot It!

Based in the United States as I am, I have only just caught up with Blue’s performance of I Can on The Paul O’Grady Show.

Although I didn’t need any more convincing that this is the winning song, this live performance has really sealed the deal. Powerful singing to a song that you can’t get out of your head is what Eurovision is all about. I Can has this in abundance. If Blue perform it this well (bring back a few of those fist pumps, please) at the Final, then Eurovision will be coming to the UK in 2012.

All the bullshit about the group’s participation being a mistake will be history. Even if they happen not to win, why wouldn’t you choose the biggest stage in Europe to make a comeback? Particularly when you have established fans waiting.

And, hopefully, Philip Schofield will be eating his words come the morning of May 15th. Fries with those, Philip?
