SRE Solutions LLC, a Milpitas-based company has extensive years of experience with solar system products with EnergyMatrix’s LED products will results in the most energy efficient street lighting in the market. Street lightings contribute a very big share in the overall energy consumption, in the US alone, about 305 billion kWh was consumed for lighting by the commercial establishments in 2008 alone. This includes also both commercial and institutional buildings and also public facilities and federal highway lighting. The conversion of street lights to renewable energy can contribute significantly towards the proper and efficient use of energy and reduction of carbon footprint.
