Earnings For August 2011

Throughout the month of August I worked steadily and did a little bit for most of my revenue streams. My Money Making Experiment is moving along slowly and unfortunately there has been a dip in earnings for this month.

I did a couple of new things for this blog. I wrote a mini product review for Tiffany Dow’s PLR ATM and I added a Resources Page. It is just a brief description of all the products that I have invested in and my opinion of them. This is a way to share what I use and a way to earn a little commission from this site

Adsense – I didn’t do anything for this revenue stream. Money is still being earned through my Hubpages, Infobarrels and a little bit from my niche websites, both hosted and blogger blogs.

Amazon – The earnings dipped this month mainly due to the fact that the summer holidays were ending so one of my summer specific sites got less visitors and sales. However my Halloween sites are gaining a little more attention so I look forward to September’s results.

Clickbank – My clickbank site has disappeared off the face of the earth so absolutely no sales here. Boo hoo.

The PLR Boutique – I added a few more packs to the site, connected with people and made some nice sales.

Email Blogging – I slowly put together my ebook and it has finally come together. No money has been made here yet but I look forward to what will happen in September.

Earnings from Adsense = £126.95 Last Month = £158.37

Earnings from Amazon USA = £265.19 Last Month = £291.83

Earnings from Amazon UK = £3.55 Last Month = £3.70

Earnings from The PLR Boutique = £138.89 Last Month = £141.72

TOTAL EARNINGS FOR AUGUST 2011

= £534.58 Last Month = £ 603.65

Goals for September

There are so many things that I want to do but I have to try and break it down to only a few goals for the month otherwise I will end up just feeling overwhelmed and achieve nothing.

Work on My PLR Site

I am still working to add new article packs to The PLR Boutique. I aim to write at least 10 articles per week so that I have either one 10-pack or 2x 5-packs to offer. The next thing that I want to do this month is to set up an affiliate program so that other people can help to sell my products. This should help to increase sales to people who haven’t yet discovered the website. I have reinvested in my business by purchasing DL Guard and am currently setting up the JAM affiliate program.

I have realised that I really enjoy writing articles (much more than doing back link work) and so have officially set up a Ghost Writer For Hire page on my website. I will see how this goes and re-evaluate next month.

Email Blogging

Now that the eBook for my practice site is complete, I just need to tweak the email offer and I hope to send it out to the little list that I have for this experiment. We’ll see what happens.
