Drama at IHOP

So I went to IHOP this morning to grab some breakfast and most people who eat at certain IHOP restaurant know that kids eat for free between 4pm and 10pm, there is a sign that even says so. However at the bottom of the sign says (Free kids meal with the purchase of a adult meal), there is a sign on the entrance door and on the tables where you sit.

These 2 women came in with about 6 kids and they all sat down to eat, when the server brought them their bill they went into ignorant mode arguing that their kids meal should of been free, the server kindly told them that its only between 4pm and 10pm. Why did these two women start to argue on loud at the server, he told them there is a sign on the front door and also at the table that they were sitting at. They became louder and louder arguing with the server saying they were not going to pay.

Eventually the manager came and told them they would either pay or he would call the police because they were becoming a problem, etc.. lots of curse words were being used by the two women but the IHOP staff remained professional. They then got up and paid still being ignorant about it, after they left the server came back to clean up the table, I told him those two women probably pull that little show at every IHOP to try and get a free meal.

He was saying he didn’t understand why they acted that way when there is a sign on the door and the table they were sitting at. I just told him they were ignorant women and he did not deserve that tirade of insults. I left and gave him a $20.00 tip, ignorance is everywhere, it just amazes me how people treat each other.
