Each day I will post a little bit of this story...I haven't decided whether it will be a book, a screenplay, or both... *** Prologue ***He sat in front of the room, very straight faced and still. Every eye and ear was fixed upon him. He spoke with a quiver in his voice, but still very serious."It all happened so fast, considering how slow it all began, not to mention how much space was in between. She lived so far away from me. But yet, everything seemed to piece itself together for us so quickly. She used to tell me so much. Sometimes, it were so much that I felt I'd forget the last thing she had said. It got to the point that I would have to write it all down."He kept his gaze towards the floor as he spoke, and he pulled nervously at a loose string on the end of his shirt."There is so much to say, so much I know I need to say, but the truth is I don't know where to start." he said to the eagerly attentive room."How about from the top, Dr. Kolms?" demanded the slender woman standing before him. Despite her petite physique, she encompassed much authority within her appearance. "I'm sure we are all wanting you to start from the beginning. Can you do that for us, DR KOLMS?""Yes maim, I can" he replied. He continued to keep his gaze to the floor for a moment, then slowly raised his soulful eyes to the room. "I still remember like it were yesterday.""We started talking through a forum for musicians. She and I would carry on conversations about music and entertainment. She always was a very sophisticated and intelligent lady. We had much in common, and it wasn't long before she had warmed up to me.""I was a writer of a magazine back then. I had this magazine that would disclose reasearch my colleagues and I would be working on, a compilation if you will. She would review my articles and put in her two cents. She always was an insightful woman." He smiled and paused for a moment, looking again at the floor."One night she was telling me about personal beliefs. Somehow the conversation drifted to a discussion on something she believed in, that she had told me she had shared with others in the past and that they -" he stopped midway through the sentence and took a finger just under his left eye. "Well...they called her crazy". A small grin peered from the corner of his lips, and looked up at the ceiling."Nothing she said that night made me think she was crazy. I believed in them too. Everything she had said was thoughts that had crossed my own mind. She and I had a very in depth conversation that night about it all. She told me some very intriguing stories, and even shared her dreams with me. I made sure to get her to give me a detailed account of her dreams, and I made document of it all as well. I wanted to use it in some research I was doing.""That night, after we talked, I just knew there was a reason that she and I had met. That night, without a doubt in my mind, our minds had been connected, and there before us was a great purpose."
